Nesta terça-feira (8), o aguardado MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) anunciou seus indicados, a indústria da música e os fãs estão ansiosos para descobrir quais artistas e videoclipes dominarão a premiação deste ano.
Na última edição, Anitta fez história ao se tornar a primeira artista brasileira a levar um prêmio no VMAs, e este ano ela tem a chance de repetir o feito. A cantora está novamente indicada na categoria de Melhor Clipe Latino. A matéria usou informações do portal “gshow”.
Além da presença da diva pop que trouxe o funk para o centro das atenções da premiação, Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Smith e Kim Petras estão empatados com cinco indicações cada. A cerimônia está marcada para o dia 12 de setembro, no Prudential Center, em Newark, Nova Jersey.
Este ano, há 35 artistas concorrendo ao VMA pela primeira vez, incluindo nomes como Boygenius, GloRilla, Ice Spice, PinkPantheress, Flo Milli, Reneé Rapp e Peso Pluma, entre outros. A lista de indicados ao VMA 2023 também inclui artistas como Lana Del Rey, Bad Bunny, Shakira, Janelle Monae, Paramore, Blackpink, Adele, Rosalía, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Diddy, Karol G, Tomorrow X Together e Metallica.
